Michael Nicolis
Since his call to the Ontario Bar in 1994, Mike Nicolis has practiced in the area of insurance litigation. His focus has included personal injury, medical malpractice, property damage, municipal liability and insurance coverage matters. Mike has acted for many of the country’s largest insurers and has successfully advocated cases through to trial and hearings. In addition, he has appeared numerous times in his capacity as counsel for various insurers at private mediations.
Mike has presented seminars and has lead discussion groups with insurer clients on a variety of insurance related topics. He is a member of the Advocate’s Society, Canadian Bar Association and the Toronto Lawyers' Association. He has also completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop at Osgoode Hall Law School (1998) and is a member of the Defence Research Institute.
